Rahim has been in the transport industry for over 7 years and has impeccable industry knowledge in break bulk cargo, containers and clearing. Rahim graduated as an Accountant.

He has been a member of the association for 7 years representing SIMERA TRANSPORT LIMITED. Rahim has served in various capacities on the board for 5 years.

At TATOA, Rahim wishes to achieve a strong association so that members are able to achieve their goals and targets in the transport industry.

SAADKHAN ISMAIL - Treasurer

Saadkhan has been in the transport industry for over 30 years and has industry knowledge in clearing, warehousing, containers, break bulk, abnormal cargo, fuel cargo and local distribution. Saadkhan graduated as a Financier.

He has been a member of the association for over 10 years representing USANGU LOGISTICS TANZANIA LTD. Saad has served in various capacities on the board for over 5 years and is the current Treasurer.

At TATOA, Saadkhan wishes to work with the government to provide a good environment for business operations by minimizing non-tariff barriers (NTBs) and getting a platform to reach on for their challenges.

ALY DEWJI - Board Member

Aly has been in the transport industry for over 14 years and has unprecedented industry knowledge including but not limited to: break bulk, transit corridors and multi-modal logistics. Aly graduated as a Mechanical Engineer.

He has been a member of the association for over 8 years representing SIMBA LOGISTICS LIMITED. Aly has served in various capacities on the board for 7 years.

At TATOA, Aly wishes to achieve a re-organization of internal resources and promote research based advocacy to champion the many problems that members face.

ALKAREEM DAWOOD - Board Member

LUSEKELO MWAKIBETE - Board Member

Chief has been in the transport industry for over 22 years and has industry knowledge in break bulk containers,break bulk cargo and clearing. Chief has graduated as a Public Relation Officer.

He has been a member of the association for over 7 years representing ​TEDDY JUNIOR LIMITED. Chief has served in various capacities on the board for over 5 years.

At TATOA, Chief wishes​ to achieve aligned goals and vision among the Stakeholders of the Industry. He also believes that it is the responsibility of the Association to engage the Government in ensuring that all challenges facing the transport Industry have beneficial solutions to all stakeholders.

BETSON KIWANGA - Board member

Betson has been in the transport industry for over 4 years and has in-depth industry knowledge in break bulk cargo and dry cargo. Betson graduated as an Engineer.

He has been a member of the association for over14 years representing D&M SYSTEM LIMITED. Betson has served in various capacities on the board for 5 years.

At TATOA, Betson wishes to eliminate all the red tape and obstacles facing the transport industry and making sure that all members succeed in the transport industry.

ARNORD BENJAMIN LEMA - Board member

Arnold has been in the transport industry for over 30 years, and has industry knowledge in break bulk cargo, containers, clearing and forwarding. Arnold graduated as a Mechanical Engineer.

He been a member of the association for 12 years representing ARNOLD BENJAMIN LEMA. Arnold has served in various capacities on the board for 1 year.

At TATOA, Arnold wishes to achieve an organization that prospers and he also desires more transporters to join the association because they will benefit out of it.

SHAKANYI WAGORA - Board member

Shakanyi has been in the transport industry for over 10 years and has industry knowledge in containers and bulk cargo. Shakanyi has graduated as an Accountant.

He has been a member of the association for over 3 years representing ​WF LOGISTICS LIMITED. Shakanyi has served in various capacities on the board for over 1 year.

At TATOA, Shakanyi wishes to see TATOA grow into a big organization and also making sure all members achieve their goals and grow their credit facilities in the transport industry.
