The Tanzania Truck Owners Association- TATOA is a voluntary business Association of Truck Owners involved in the Cargo Freighting business in and outside the United Republic of Tanzania emphasizing on Transit Transportation Trade facilitation within the SADC and Great Lakes region encompassing DRC (Katanga, North & South Kivu Provinces), Zambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, and South Sudan.
Our Mission
The mission of the Tanzania Truck Owners Association is to be a key player in promoting a safe, reliable and efficient road freight industry in the sub-Saharan Africa.
Our Vision
The vision of the Tanzania Truck Owners Association is to create the most efficient and reliable transportation sector in the sub-Saharan Africa.
Container Transportation
TATOA members strive for efficiency, proper handling and conformity to international procedures and regulations which are essential to ensure competitive advantage in this sector of the transport industry.
Fuel Transportation
All TATOA members observe and conform to international fuel handling and transportation requirements and standards plus strictly following Government regulations and policies, thus ensuring smooth and safe operations. Fuel transport services from TATOA members are organised, with focus on quality customer service at very competitive cost.
Break Bulk Transportation
ATOA members understand the need and the complexities of delivering to various industries in the region and together with stakeholders such as Government Chemist Laboratory Agency (GCLA) safely and efficiently do so. Various options exist for tipper, bulk bag and bulk carrier deliveries with our members.
Network Opportunities
Facilitating networking events, conferences, or workshops for members to share experiences. Creating an online platform for members to interact, exchange information, and discuss trends
